{A Saturday in June}

We had a very busy Saturday last weekend.
We are extremely fortunate that Jacob works for a company deeply embedded in the community.
When he told me they had free tickets for the zoo,
I was absolutely game for it.

Annie absolutely loved watching the animals
and feeding the sheep and goats.
We got to see Mufasa, and Crush's Grandpa, Mumbles,
and meet every member of Kung Fu Panda's Fierce five.

After the zoo, we went strait to Primary Activity day.
The second we stepped out of the car,
and charged the puppies!
If you didn't know,
Annie is OBSESSED with puppies!!
We already decided once we get to Arizona
we're gonna start looking for one for her.
(We're still unsure about breeds, so suggestions are welcome)

But at the activity, if she wasn't attacking a canine,
she was finding every way she could get wet.
She and her nursery friends surely enjoyed their day,
and I know I was very grateful for the nap the activity induced.

We love our lives here in Rexburg,
and we're gonna miss the security this town and our ward has provided.
But, I know that when we leave,
the Lord will guide us to those that can remind us and give us
the sense of safety and security we have here.

I will admit, the adventure we have ahead of us is scary.
I'm scared that we will not thrive there,
but I know that it is where we need to be.

{Behrens Family Reunion}

The week before Father's Day, Annie and I went down to Corona
for a family reunion for my dad's side of the family.
Annie and I stayed in Corona and the reunion took place at Canyon Lake,
at a house right on the water.

We were so lucky that so many of us could be there.
Annie had the opportunity to meet all of her little cousins,
and pick fights with just about all of them.

*Yes that is the girls sitting on my lap watching Tangled on an Ipad. What else would they be doing?

We had so many things to do,
from the big house with the big TV's, big kitchen filled with food,
large back deck, to the pool with the spa and slide, the sand pit,
the kayak, paddle boat, or paddle board.

Nothing could have made the week any better for me
than to have my husband, my brother, and my grandma there with us.
It was such a wonderful experience to be there with all of my family,
and just be able to sit and talk with my dad and aunts and uncle
about my grandparents and where we came from.

So here's to meeting all together again in two years.
Who knows where we all will be by then,
and how much bigger our family will grow,
but I can't wait to see them all again!
